In order to authenticate my domain, they needed to send an email to my domain's registered email address. I then bought a RapidSSL certificate to secure my domain, and that's where all the problems began. I bought a dynamic domain name from, and the set-up was relatively easy and, at least, worked. Many hosting services come and go, but No-IP has been around for many years, and that says something! Even if you do buy a wrong service, most of the time they are able to just apply what was paid for the wrong service, to the correct one.

Best part, you can test out the many features for free, just to get a feel for what you need, before accidentally shelling out money for a service you don't want or need. They will suggest services you might be missing should you have server issues, but that's the most they suggest from my past experience. Fast turn around times without the hassle of having extra services you don't want or need rammed down ones throat every time you contact them. Tech support is quite helpful, not to mention if your not sure what you need, are helpful with what you do need, once they know what type of server you want to run. Their service for this was free, and still is as of this writing, but they do offer even better services at fraction the prices. Even the mondain router worked with their system.
NO IP DUC ALTERNATIVE PC
No-IP whom has also added many new services to this date, put in a fix for all, that stopped this annoyance by running a small program on ones PC which instantly updated the IP change, assigning it to a url that went into your servers IP config setting, and allowed the user to go on playing, running websites, without having to worry when their IP changed again. Game servers like Minecraft, RunUo/ServeUO, Terraria, Starbound, PHP and SQL servers would ground to a halt with either people losing connections or no longer being able to connect until the hoster sent out the new IP in which you then had to edit in, which became a big pain.
NO IP DUC ALTERNATIVE WINDOWS
One of the most annoying problems of the past when trying to run a game or website server off ones Windows PC was the fact that most internet providers constantly changed ones IP, whether randomly every few hours, or every time a PC rebooted. Not just for games, but personal servers as well!
